Peaceful Protest

Well, obviously, I'm not going to be able to keep up with this as I would like. I have the thoughts but can't get time to do it. Maybe I'll do better this summer while school is out. Now I just have too much homework and studying to do. Anyway, I wrote this a while back but meant to add more so never did post it.

While many of us celebrate the victory of the Egyptian people against tyranny, it causes one to wonder what would happen if the people of America were to hold non-violent protests against some of the unconstitutional laws of the United States government. Well, we don’t have to wait to see what would happen because it’s happening already. Check this out:

Okay, I’m getting depressed. There is so much more. I’m trying to limit to the topic of peaceful protest but keep seeing police brutality that I can’t even believe anyone would do to another person.

Spend a little time on youtube looking up this stuff. It’s not difficult to find. Google it. Be aware of what’s going on in our country. I’m not anti-American; I’m anti-tyranny. Everyone in government from the president to the dog catcher works for us. We’re their boss, not the other way around. There was a time when Americans knew that. Now most of us just cower and do as we’re told to stay out of trouble.

We lose more and more rights as we go on but most people seem to not notice.
